Get ready for an evening of powerful, soulful blues with The Jony James Band at Sportsmen’s Tavern in Buffalo, NY, as the Western New York Blues Society continues its 716 Blues Series!
Born in Buffalo and raised in Chicago, Jony James was performing in South Side blues clubs by the age of 17, sharing the stage with musicians such as Eddie Taylor and J.B. Hutto. After years on the road, he returned to Western New York to develop his own original music and distinctive style, which he calls “Survival Blues.”
If you caught Jony James on the Blues Cruise this summer, here’s another opportunity to experience his music live. And if you missed the cruise, now’s your chance to discover what makes his performances so memorable!
