A tribute to John Brady
John was our band leader for nearly 25 years. Join us on November 15th as we honor the legacy of one of Western New York’s greatest musicians. A Buffalo Hall of Fame inductee, John was a mentor to many and truly shined in his role at AMJAM, sharing his many years of experience and talents with our AMJAM participants. AMJAM was important to John, and he was instrumental in bringing the program back after COVID.
We will start the day with our regular AMJAM format (bring your instruments!) and will have a dedication about halfway through. We have several area musicians, from friends to students, who will share memories and stories about John. After our dedication, we will play a few of John’s original songs.
As always, this is an open amateur jam… All skill levels and instruments welcome. Help us share John Brady’s legacy on November 15th, 2-5 pm
