Sportsmens Tavern
326 Amherst St, Buffalo, New York 14207

Willie May has been part of the Buffalo Sound for over 50 years. He has been the leader of the Willie May Band for over thirty of those years and has performed from Austin Texas, Indianapolis Indiana, the New England states, Florida and everywhere in between.
He has released 16 albums in that time with 6 alone in the last four years. Most of the latest recordings were done right here at the Sportsmans recording studio with Dwane Hall at the helm. His reviewers are always astonished at how he crosses genres to make his own unique sound. Whether playing solo or with an eight piece band you always know itʼs “Willie May”.
An accomplished artist in his own right, many of his paintings will be on display upstairs at the Sportsman Tavern. So please come early to take a look and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Willie May Band. Willie May is now based in Weeki Wachi Florida and regularly comes back to Buffalo to record and entertain his large fan base. Willie will be joined on stage by his life long bass player, Tom Corsi, Evan Laedke on Keyboards, Owen Eichensehr on Drums and we never know who else Willie will invite for the ride.
